trouble with my BlackBerry
Using BlackBerry from 3 years before a Curve 8300 and a year now a Curve 8900.
Android time there was still the ' iPhone was in its infancy but it still had the third-party applications and had significant limitations as a phone, Windows Mobile was always "the same" that I've tested in the past and that had convinced me at all. Nokia thanks to its dominant position to market products and often expensive poco funzionali.
Purtroppo pero', per RIM e per i suoi clienti, nel frattempo iPhone e Android have improved at a faster rate 'significantly higher and now the strengths of the BB are no longer' so 'obvious than the competition.
RIM has tried to run for cover the first changing form factor with the Storm (the first BB with touch screen) and now not only introducing a new hardware with a slider form factor, the Torch , but also a new version of the system that breaks in part with the policy of small steps to upgrade.
But the novelty 'introduced' in a hurry "do not fall into the DNA of RIM ... with the result that the Storm is not 'never been a product at, full of bugs in the software and with a click mechanism to pressure that did not display never really worked well.
And unfortunately it seems that the new OS 6 , I have not tried it yet in person, by no means equal to the quality ' that RIM has always offered.
All this happens right now that after a year I use the 8900 I found the "wheel" navigation no longer 'working as it should and as if that were not enough to clean it you have to disassemble the entire phone, which of course makes void the warranty as well as require a certain skill and attention to do no harm. Means to send him to remain without telephone service for 2 or 3 weeks ... It 's not a coincidence that RIM has used that type of wheel on only a few models and have it replaced promptly gia' da tempo con un trackpad senza parti fisiche in movimento.
probably in the coming months will be released 'BB with some other hardware' performance and in the meantime maybe the software will be 'better ... but these are ifs and buts that leaves make any difference.
With Windows 7 Phone horizon and I do not 'left to keep the 8900 and its scroll wheel that makes the tantrums and wait for products like this Dell that promise very much, for the Lightning and other' similar the Torch being also a slider with a physical keyboard but with a very different level of hardware equipment and an OS that as far as it seems davvero all'altezza... per ora quindi l'amato BlackBerry viene messo in purgatorio... e se RIM non corre velocemente (e con tanta qualita') ai ripari prevedo un 2011 davvero in calo per l'azienda Canadese perche' le mie considerazioni saranno condivise da tanti utenti BlackBerry.
